We are featuring a Stick Boy original: Olive Oil & Cracked Pepper. When I first started working at the Stick Boy store in Boone, I fell in love with this simple bread. It has an incredible flavor, a nice texture, and a bit of kick. It's a pure and simple bread that perfectly compliments any dish. Try it with baked chicken, broiled fish, roasted pork, or spaghetti and meatballs. I promise, you won't be disappointed.

Three cheers for sunshine: Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray!
It was so nice to see the sun this weekend. Josh and I opened all the windows in our house and let the sun shine in. The weather was FANTASTIC and it made me start thinking about the Spring.
Spring brings two very special days: Easter and Mother's Day. Can you believe that Easter is only a few weeks away? We will be posting all of our Easter specials in the next few days so be on the look-out and start planning your menu!

The Shamrock Shake is back! The Shamrock Shake is a seasonal dessert sold at Stick Boy during the month of March to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. This mint-flavored green treat is made with vanilla ice cream and creme de menthe syrup, then topped with our homemade whipped cream and green sprinkles. Amazing!

Josh, our baker, loves experimenting with bread recipes and creating new bread flavors. He draws inspiration from artisan bread books, bread baking websites, and you.
Monday- Parmesan Peppercorn Parmesan Peppercorn is a great savory bread with a bit of kick! Josh begins with water, flour, salt, and yeast, then he adds shredded parmesan cheese and cracked peppercorn to create a delicious and distinguished flavor. You get a punch of pepper in every bite! Parmesan Peppercorn will be available on Monday for $3.79/loaf.
Tuesday- Blueberry Oatmeal f you're looking for a healthy way to start your day, look no further. With heart-healthy oatmeal, antioxidant-rich blueberries, and a touch of sweet brown sugar, we have created a bread that is hard to beat. It's no wonder that Blueberry Oatmeal Bread is a favorite among our staff and customers.Wednesday- Jalapeno Cheddar
Jalapeno lovers will crave this bread! Sharp cheddar cheese and hot jalapenos folded into our french dough. I suggest toasting this bread- it will enhance the flavor and texture! Jalapeno Cheddar Bread will be available on Wednesday for $4.25 a loaf.
Thursday- Pumpkin Rosemary
Pumpkin Rosemary. Our Pumpkin Rosemary bread is made with refreshing rosemary, creamy pumpkin, subtly sweet and nutty pumpkin seeds and a loving dash of honey. Pumpkin Rosemary will be available on Thursday for $4.25 a loaf.
Friday- Rustic Walnut Sourdough
Josh first made our Rustic Walnut Sourdough a few weeks ago and it instantly became a staff favorite. Imagine a rustic country Sourdough studded with toasted walnuts and a nice open crumb. This dynamite bread will be available Friday for $4.25/loaf. Call now and place your order!  Saturday- Carrot Dill Shredded carrots, fresh dill, and cream cheese join forces in this creamy bread. Serve with butter or alongside your favorite salad. Yum!
As always, we mix our breads from scratch, shape them by hand, and bake them in our big German oven right here on Main Street. We bake with only unbleached and unbromated flour and never use any additives or preservatives. Come and taste!
