There is nothing that reminds me more of big family gatherings and great food than the smell of yeast rolls baking in the oven. Our yeast rolls are light, soft, and moist, but most of all, they're a perfect accompaniment to absolutely any home-cooked meal. In my opinion, nothing tastes quite as good as a pillow-soft yeast roll right from the oven.

I think that Stephen (our pastry chef) does a FANTASTIC job on every cake he creates-- each one is beautiful and delicious! I love giving you a quick look at his talent in our "Cakes of the Week" feature but, this week, I just had to give you a big picture. Take a look at this adorable barnyard scene:

*********** Wow! I can't believe that the month of September is just around the corner! Where did the summer go?
September is a month of change: change of seasons, change of weather, and change of activities (kids are back in school!). We're making some changes at Stick Boy too! Last week, we said "good-bye" to Summer Stollen, Zucchini Bread, and Key Lime Pie. Now, it's time to say "hello" to Coffee Cheesecake, Spiced Apple Almond Bread, Apple Pie, and Molasses Cookies. I love our September product line!

Our Coffee Cheesecake is awesome! Stephen (our pastry chef) begins by adding real coffee (and a few drops of coffee liqueur) to our creamy cheesecake, then he adds fresh ground espresso to our Oreo cookie crust, and finishes everything off by baking it to perfection. It's a coffee lovers dream come true!

Josh, our baker, loves experimenting with bread recipes and creating new bread flavors. He draws inspiration from artisan bread books, bread baking websites, and you.
Monday- Kaiser Rolls
We sprinkle this round roll with sesame seeds or poppy seeds and bake them in our oven until they are crusty and have the perfect golden hue. Our large kaiser rolls are the best for burgers and are the perfect addition to any cook-out, picnic, or summertime meal. Available on Monday!
Tuesday- Sweet Potato Marshmallow Brioche
Our Sweet Potato Marshmallow Brioche is a decadent treat. This fluffy French breakfast bread is made with oven-roasted sweet potatoes, white chocolate chips, and marshmallows. Sound good? It is. In fact, it's so good that I've planned an entire meal around it: French Toast made with Sweet Potato Marshmallow Brioche, Applewood Smoked Bacon, and a fresh fruit salad. I can't wait! Wednesday- Carrot Dill

This is a Stick Boy classic - we've been making it since the day that we opened, and it has never lost it's popularity.
